TekDog “Getting Started with Nintex”

Course Description:This class provides the fundamentals for working with Nintex Workflow 2010.This class is broken into five 2- hour classes allowing students to digest and learn at a reasonable pace.We will also provide homework exercises that will prepare the students for the next class.TekDog will also use real-life business cases to teach principals of Business Process Management using the SharePoint and Nintex platforms.

Training Environment: Each student will be provided a dedicated CloudShare© Training Environment featuring SharePoint 2010 Enterprise as well as Nintex Workflow 2010.The training environment will be provided for up to 14 days from the start of the training course.

Nintex 101: Introduction to Nintex

The Introduction session will be used to introduce Nintex Workflow to the students as well as to demonstrate basic workflow foundations and techniques.

Nintex 301: Extending Workflows

Students will be exposed to more advanced workflow actions as they relate to the student’s actual business process.We will extend the workflows created in Nintex 201 to demonstrate more advanced workflow capabilities.

The last workshop will be used to put all the pieces together to create our final solution. We will also explore Nintex web parts and reporting capabilities.We will use the 401 workflow and business case to extend functionality and demonstrate how to create more rich business solutions.
